Davide Curatola Soprana is an architect and photographer.
After attending landscape theory and urban planning courses in Seville and Madrid, he graduated from ‘La Sapienza’ University of Rome. In 2015 he moved to Madrid, focusing his research on the visual study of the landscape, the city and the territory.
In 2019 he exhibits at the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism SBAU. In 2021 receives the Photography Prize at the XV Bienal Española de Arquitectura y Urbanismo for work on expansion plans in the south-east of Madrid. In 2022 he participates in the Oslo Architecture Triennale with his work on the urban and landscape masterplan for the FREIE MITTE in Vienna by Studio Vlay-Streeruwitz. In the spring of the same year starts a research within the OPEN Master in Architecture and Representation of Landscape at the University of RomaTRE. At the same time, he focusedon project research in Spain, investigating the relationship between infrastructure and depopulation and between the environment and the philosophy of law.
